No, it is prohibited to leave cars at Keflavík airport (KEF). Ending a ride outside of the operating zone will result in a fine. You are allowed to drive a car to Keflavik airport and back. Just make sure the car has sufficient charge before starting the trip.

Cars can be driven outside of the zone as long as you return it back before ending the ride. The main zone is over downtown Reykjavík, west to Seltjarnarnes (Grótta) and east to Skútuvogur. No, the ride ends automatically if the cars are not moved for a set amount of time. An unlocked car with an active trip will end the ride after 1 hour of inactivity. A paused car will stay rented for up to 4 hours without being moved.
